Barleywine

Barley wine is a BIG beer. A strong assertive alcohol presence with a malty sweetness. A great full flavor and a little hint of fruit. Easily compared to a sherry in its complex flavors and alcohol warmth. Due to the high alcohol content (7-14%) and the fact that most barley wines are unfiltered, they age very well.
