Malternative beverages on Long Island
Malt-ernatives are a special category of beverages that used to include just wine coolers. The hot new product in this category is Spiked Seltzer, most around 100 calories per can. Citrus and berry flavors abound! The malt category has grown to include hard sodas and mocktail style of popular cocktails, like the mojito, but with the alcohol content of beer, 4-5 % abv. In this category you can find Mike’s Hard Lemonade, Twisted Tea and a special summer appearance of Zima. We also carry a very nice selection of hard ciders, both domestic and imported.
